Hi I’m 58 & have been poz since 93’. I’ve been on social security for 10 years this time around. I’ve tried to work but anything physical I’m unable to do & I just don’t have the mind I used to. I have a defibrillator in my chest that could be from hiv drugs I took in the 90’s. This problem also has decreased my ability’s. But I’m writing to say that if it wasn’t for my health plan that allows me to use a card for food, otc (spendables) I would have to rely on local charities & such.

I’m engaged in a research study about HIV in participants’ older years. It’s a behavioral assessment (though investigators out of Northwest U. in Chicago. I think a drug co. is the sponsor. Hopefully its results can help improve things for us long-timers!
