Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), insurance companies can't deny coverage or charge more for pre-existing conditions like HIV, and must cover antiretroviral therapy (ART). Additionally, Medicare Part D plans are required to cover all approved antiretrovirals (ARVs) without preauthorization which typically requires a step process through various ARVs starting with the least expensive. I believe my Devoto is the least expensive. I'm most concerned that preauthorizations will be required.
